How to Set Up Your Profile

1. Become a member

If you are not a member of the RIFC, please sign up now. If you signed up in 2014 and never received a login, email info@rifcfilms and we’ll help you out.

2. Login

Navigate to the top menu and choose Members’ Area > Login.

3. You’re now in your profile!

This should automatically take you to your profile, which is blank, except for your name.

4. Edit your profile

Click on the gear icon and choose “Edit Profile”


5. Header/Avatar Images

Want to change your header image or avatar? Simply click in either of those areas. Avatars must be at least 190 pixels across, header images should be a minimum of 700 pixels across.

6. Crop Images

Crop your images and hit “Apply” to save the changes.

7. Update your bio

Write a brief description of yourself. Maximum 750 characters–including spaces.

8. Add links

If you have a website, public Facebook page, Twitter profile, or IMDB listing–put those links here. Include any union affiliations or specialties you might have. This makes it easier for other members to find you.

8. Got headshots?

We have an additional area for head-shots or stills from your films.

9. Save your profile

You can either click “Update” at the bottom or the checkmark under your head image.

10. Privacy settings

If you don’t want your profile to be visible in the Members’ Directory, click on the gear icon again. Choose “My Account.”

11. Hiding your profile

Click on the lock icon to change your visibility settings.

To hide it from the world wide web, for Profile Privacy choose “Only me.”

Under Hide my profile from directory click “Yes” if you want to hide your profile from other members. Now no one can see your profile unless you share the link with them!

12. Sharing your profile

Think of this as a mini-website provided by the RIFC. If you don’t have a website, this a great way to share your info with potential clients, production companies, and casting agents.

In the top-right menu, click on “Profile” to get back to your profile. Select the web address in the URL address bar, send that link to whoever your want and they’ll see your profile and any information you shared.

Your profile must be set to “Everyone” in the privacy account settings in order to share your link with non-members.
