Educational Events Committee

Committee Lead: Mike Ryan

The RIFC holds events where industry professionals are invited to speak to those interested in the film community. Past presenters include Anne Mulhall of LDI Casting, Bobby Farelly, Michael Corrente, Donna Sommers of SAG, and other industry professionals. New equipment workshops are also included.

In addition, this group plans our classes and manages the educational grants RIFC receives.

RIFC Casting Sessions Committee

Committee Lead: Michele Metivier
The RIFC sometimes holds shared casting sessions for Independent filmmakers, and can send out casting communications to members.

RIFC Production Committee

The RIFC helps filmmakers of any skill level make their films by leveraging local resources and encouraging collaboration among local filmmakers. RIFC's Official projects to backed by the RIFC from pre-production to distribution. RIFC's Affiliated projects are supported by the RIFC in one or more phases of production.

RIFC Screenings Committee

Committee Lead: Tommy Broadbent and Jim Vickers
RIFC members have a chance to screen their films and receive feedback from peers and professionals to advance their filmmaking skills. Usually about three or four films are screened in an evening with plenty of time for Q & A.
