RIFC Announcements

Jason Wilder Evans, the Michigan born Rhode Island transplant, has become quite active in the Providence area of movie and music in the last 2.5 years. Like many RIlanders he's had the opportunity to work on several of the TV and Films that the State office has worked so hard to bring to the Ocean State.

If you get the opportunity, you can go to the Rhode Island Historical Society and check out the film WRENLAND (dir. by Jung Lee) or you can just purchase it on Jason's website: www.jasonwilderevans.

Many of our members worked on Jason's film "Reality to the Max" which can be found on IFILM.http://www.ifilm.com/video/2865739. "Reality" can also be purchased on his website: www.jasonwilderevans.com and on www.buyindies.com. Also - Jason just signed on co-starring with Ari Lehman (the first Jason in the Friday 13th Series) in "Split Milk".

As a goodbye to RI, Jason is having a blow-out at Cafe Zog FRIDAY, 13th of July. It is his last scheduled music performance in Rhode Island as a "Rhody". If you haven't had the chance to check Jason out, do so.
